Austin’s primary role with Christopher Edwards Financial, LLP is to build and maintain a culture of compliance that is specifically designed to prioritize and emphasize the best interests of our clients.  This firm wide culture compliments the services we offer to our representatives and allows our advisors to focus on pursuing their clients’ goals.

Professional Qualifications and Registrations

Austin began his career in the financial services industry as an Investment Advisor Representative (IAR) in 2010, subsequently accepting the role of principal as an OSJ in 2014.  In addition to the current designation of Chief Compliance Officer for Fortis Group Advisors LLC, Austin is also an active IAR of Fortis Group Advisors, LLC and proudly conducts advisory and securities business as Christopher Edwards Financial Associates, LLP.  Austin maintains the Series 7 and 24 through LPL Financial and 66 through Fortis Group Advisors and LPL in addition to the necessary insurance licenses needed to conduct insurance related business NJ and NY.  These lines of authority include life insurance, long-term-care insurance, and disability insurance.  Austin graduated from Monmouth University with a Bachelor of Science. 

Personal Life

Austin resides in Ocean County NJ with his wife, Chelsea, and two daughters.  Austin is an avid boater and fisherman and when not in the office, he can be found with his family in, on, or near the water.
